Hello, Doer of the word!
*If you’d like to be our podcast guest, introduce us to someone you’d love to see on the show, or volunteer in helping us encourage more people to take action on inspired invitations from prophets and apostles, please reply to this email and let us know.*
Welcome to General Conference+!
GC+ is a highlight reel of messages from the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles they shared anywhere outside of Conference last week. We look at social media, magazines, devotionals, temple dedications, YouTube, press releases, and more to find the latest inspiring and important teachings you won't want to miss.
The Church cross-posts the same content on multiple platforms. We’ll link to only one instance of each resource, usually via Instagram or YouTube, but you can easily find the same thing on Facebook or X, if you prefer.
Find a resource that inspires you and share it with someone. Here we go!
Our Favorites from Last Week
Elder Christofferson | Don’t have 46 minutes to spare for last week’s “Walk with Me” - Worldwide Discussion for Youth? Try this short reel instead on how Jehovah’s invitation to Enoch extends to us.
Elder Bednar | In dedicating the Alabang, Philippines temple, he prayed, “As we receive worthily the ordinances of the Savior’s gospel and honor the covenants we enter into with Thee and Thy Son, we are blessed to receive the power of Godliness in our lives. … May the power of godliness manifested in the ordinances of the Holy Priesthood draw all of Thy covenant children to worship in this Holy House.”
If, like me, you live so far from this temple that you’re unlikely to ever visit and wonder how it could possibly impact you, consider this blessing upon ALL saints globally from the dedicatory prayer: “We are so much grateful* for the consecrated resources, the tithes and offerings of Thy faithful disciples around the world, that have made this house of the Lord possible. Please open the windows of heaven and shower down upon these faithful Latter-Day Saints every needful spiritual gift and blessing.”
*The phrase, “we are so much grateful/thankful” is a common Filipino way to express “deep reverence and wholehearted appreciation.”
Elder Renlund | Great short video covering the key points of his latest conference message. Also available in this 7-min version that goes deeper and feels less rushed. These are useful in personal study, sharing in missionary efforts, and teaching at home or in church classes.
A Heads-up for Easter
Church leaders are inviting us to prepare for and bring friends to a 1-hr sacrament meeting on Palm Sunday. The April 2026 General Conference will be special in several ways—held on Easter Sunday, will include a solemn assembly, and there will be no Saturday evening session.
Believe it or not, Easter is only two months away! It’s not too early to start planning or working on your Christ-centered Easter traditions. In our episode covering Elder Stevenson’s April 2025 message, “And We Talk of Christ,” Mitch and I committed to do just that by taking the following actions. Check out that episode for more ideas and to see what we do in our homes to make Easter special (Apple | Spotify | YouTube).
Clay: I’ll reread the four Gospels of the New Testament a month before Easter season begins and get more familiar with the Gospels in general.
Mitch: I will read the following three books between now and Easter 2026:
Emily Belle Freeman, Celebrating a Christ-Centered Easter: Seven Traditions to Lead Us Closer to Jesus Christ;
Janet and Joe Hales, A Christ-Centered Easter: Day-by-Day Activities to Celebrate Easter Week;
Eric D. Huntsman (Director of the BYU Jerusalem Center), God So Loved the World: The Final Days of the Savior’s Life.
Extra Credit
For you overachievers, the following resources might also pique your interest!
Elder Caussé | How many countries and territories have you visited? Elder Caussé is up to 90! He says his church service fulfills a childhood dream of “discovering the world.” More importantly, it’s shown him “the unity of God’s people” despite surface-level differences in culture, language, or background.

Want to Sponsor or Advertise with GCA?
Reach out and we'll see whether it's a good fit. Clay and Mitch are volunteers dedicated to creating free, faith-building content. It's a labor of love that we treat like a missionary calling, but expenses add up and the time commitment is VERY high. We've got BIG ideas for increasing our reach, improving video quality, and creating useful products for busy Latter-day Saints.
If you, someone you know, or an organization you're aware of are interested in supporting GCA and helping us grow, please email us. We'd love to talk!
