Welcome to General Conference+!

GC+ is a highlight reel of messages from the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles they shared anywhere outside of Conference last week. We look at social media, magazines, devotionals, temple dedications, YouTube, press releases, and more to find the latest inspiring and important teachings you won't want to miss.

The Church cross-posts the same content on multiple platforms. We’ll link to only one instance of each resource, usually via Instagram or YouTube, but you can easily find the same thing on Facebook or X, if you prefer.

Find a resource that inspires you and share it with someone. Here we go!

Our Favorites from Last Week

President Dallin H. Oaks delivered one of his first public addresses as the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a BYU Devotional on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. You can read (Church Newsroom; Church News) or watch (Instagram #1; Instagram #2) excerpts of this address as well. President Oaks taught: "Within a few minutes after learning of [President Nelson's] death, I felt the heaviness of responsibility settle upon me, along with important impressions of what I was required to do now. As your leader, I pray for what our Heavenly Father wants for each of us—and that is to be or become active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, proceeding forward on the covenant path into the eternities. … I want to help all our members overcome present or future doubts. Whatever those doubts, the way to overcome them is to get closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. … I share four impressions that will draw us closer to our Savior: First, strengthen our faith in Him. Second, increase our humility. Third, seek help from others. Fourth, be patient."

Elder Clark G. Gilbert was ordained as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. There are a couple of news releases (#1; #2) and social media posts (#1; #2) announcing Elder Gilbert's call. My favorite resource associated with Elder Gilbert this week was in this video where Elder Gilbert shared: "We couldn't answer every call that was coming in, but one of them was on [Christine's] phone from one of our inner-city youth. He's someone we had mentored and loved and watched him grow in the gospel. But he called her, not me, and he said: 'Christine, I just wanted you to know that we know this wouldn't have happened without you.' And, um, he's right. And what a tender expression of that last night for both of us." Check out our podcast episode going live this Sunday, February 22, 2026, to learn more about Elder and Sister Gilbert and to hear Clay share a powerful story about how wonderful Sister Christine Gilbert really is!

Elder Ronald A. Rasband posted a 15-minute video on YouTube entitled "Addressing False Narratives About the Lord's Work Today" (a shorter version of the video is on social media). What most impressed me was an act of transparency near the conclusion of the video. Elder Rasband stated: "In sharing this remarkable progress that is contrary to the false narratives of our day, I do not want to be misunderstood. Of course there are units where convert baptisms are not increasing, there are missionaries who do not complete their service, and there are members who lose their way. And, like the Lord of the vineyard and his servants in Jacob 5, we grieve whenever these things happen. But my message today is one of faith and hope. I want you to open your eyes to the spiritual momentum that is beginning and will continue to fill the whole earth. You are serving during one of the most exciting times in the history of God's work. You get to witness his power changing hearts and lifting up the hands that hang down. You have the privilege to represent the Lord Jesus Christ at a time the Lord has caused us to marvel and wonder at the growth the Lord is causing. Count yourself blessed. Consider yourself fortunate that you were called for such a time as this."

Elder Patrick and Sister Jennifer Kearon posted a 16-minute video on YouTube entitled "God's Plan Brings Hope and Healing" (a shorter version of the video is on social media). Something Sister Kearon shared at the end of the video touched my heart and expanded my understanding of the enabling power of the Savior's Atonement: "Anytime I am given the strength to be just a little more patient than I would have been otherwise, or just a little more temperate than I would have been otherwise, or to make a better choice. Every time I'm given strength, or guidance, or just a little nudge here or there to just become a little bit better; that, for me, is the power and strength of Jesus Christ that flows from His atoning sacrifice. ... He's been given the rights of mercy and the power from the Father to be able to lend us His strength and His power by virtue of the fact that He suffered for you and for me in that garden and on that cross. And because He was willing to do that, and because He followed through right to the end, He has the right and He has the power to grant you His strength, and to grant you His love, and to grant you His hope, and to grant you a vision of who you can become and who He wants you to become and who He's made it possible for you to become."

Reach out and we'll see whether it's a good fit. Clay and Mitch are volunteers dedicated to creating free, faith-building content. It's a labor of love that we treat like a missionary calling, but expenses add up and the time commitment is VERY high. We've got BIG ideas for increasing our reach, improving video quality, and creating useful products for busy Latter-day Saints.

If you, someone you know, or an organization you're aware of are interested in supporting GCA and helping us grow, please email us. We'd love to talk!
