Our guest, Mitch Park, took us to the book of Mosiah, chapter 24, where we read about the people of Alma the Elder "[submitting] cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord." Take Action
Clay's Application: President Eyring said, "If we trust [Jesus], He will make our spiritual power equal to every trial we are called to bear." I'll journal what I learned about the metallurgic processes and pray for help to see my challenges as the very methods whereby the Lord is strengthening me and helping me become what He wants me to be.
Mitch's Application: I want to learn more about the people of Alma the Elder and how they "continued to have faith in Jesus Christ, even when things felt impossible." I will study the following two resources to learn from these righteous people: 1) Mosiah chapters 23 and 24; 2) Elder David A. Bednar's April 2014 General Conference address, "Bear Up Their Burdens with Ease."
Your Application: Reply to this email and tell us how you'll take action on one of these invitations and whether we can share your response in our newsletter, podcast, and/or on social media.
Thanks for joining us in becoming a "Doer of the word!" Please help others do the same by sharing this newsletter with them.
